So there’s a difference between Quality Assurance vs Quality Control
Quality assurance and quality control are sometimes a confusing thing.
One of the key concepts of quality assurance that differentiates it from quality control is that quality assurance is accomplished at some point of the challenge to help make sure that the product meets quality standards. For example, create a project quality management plan, follow quality assurance process and perform audits.
Quality control, on the other hand, calculates whether the resulting product produced by the project met the quality standards. Quality control activities are carried out after a product has been created to determine if it meets the quality requirements. The quality control process uses the results of the quality control process to conclude if changes are needed in the quality control process.
